Planet Beach is one of the most innovative franchising corporations in the world. Since 1996, Planet Beach has developed franchises throughout the world, in such places as the United States, Canada, Australia, Egypt, Dubai, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and many others. The corporate headquarters is located in Marrero, Louisiana near New Orleans. The Planet Beach concept is, “Making people look great and feel even better!”
Planet Beach is looking for five young ladies to become the "COVER MODELS" for their marketing campaign. An extensive North American search will be organized in order to find and select these five models to represent the Planet Beach brand in our catalog and annual advertising. The models will participate in a fabulous photo shoot in the fall of 2011 with the marketing team to prepare the advertising campaign for the next year. Of these five models that will be selected, four of them will each represent a season of products and services, while the fifth will be the one year model for the Glow product. Promotional materials will be available immediately after the Planet Beach convention that will take place in January 2012.
All the competitions will be held during the spring and summer of 2011. From these competitions, five models will be selected for a two day photo shoot in New Orleans. This photo shoot will be filmed to be part of the one-hour TV show, “Planet Beach’s Cover Models”. The best photos of each model will be posted on the Planet Beach website and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite model. The promotion will be conveyed under the theme "Cover Model", and the five photos selected to serve on the ad campaign will be presented to the public at the Planet Beach convention. The five models that are chosen will each receive $1,000 for the two days devoted to the photo shoot and they will each receive an additional $1,000 to attend and work at the Planet Beach convention in January 2012 where they will also compete for the cover photo of the Planet Beach catalog. Models will receive an additional $5,000 for a one-year contract. They will work on a contractual basis for Planet Beach and will be requested to be on site at major store openings and special events.
In January 2012, as part of the Planet Beach convention, in New Orleans, Planet Beach will host the five models where they will be presented in a runway stage show and a fabulous fashion show. The video footage of this event will be part of a one-hour television show entitled, "Become the Cover Model of Planet Beach.” The five models chosen will be seen in advertisements, style Avatar, and in all the Planet Beach promotional campaign.
